Fly2 Foundation was founded by Kennedy Lay, a physiotherapist and commercial pilot, whose work across more than ten rural and remote communities in Western Australia—including remote Aboriginal communities—revealed the profound challenges of accessing healthcare in isolated regions. Kennedy witnessed firsthand how distance can become a barrier to essential medical care, creating stress, financial strain, and uncertainty for individuals and families. Fly2 Foundation was created to bridge that gap, delivering compassionate support and safe transport so that no one’s health is limited by where they live.
We are an Australian charity providing free-of-charge flights and transportation from and to remote regional Western Australia for vulnerable people.
We aim to facilitate access to essential but non-urgent medical and health appointments with specialists in Perth, ensuring that distance, time and financial barriers do not hinder our patients’ health outcomes and quality of life.
